如何备考高管评估(Executive Assessment,EA)
形合Vs意合之延伸分析(已加点评)
从“形合”到“意合”——谈EA语法考查新着力点
A chemical plant operating continuously has two 12-hour shifts, a day shift and a night shift, during each of which as many as five chemicals can be produced. Equipment limitations and safety regulations impose constraints on the types of chemicals that can be produced during the same shift. No more than two oxidizers can be produced per shift; the same limit holds true for monomers. On either shift, the sum of fire protection standards for all chemicals should be no greater than 13 for health risk, 12 for flammability, and 9 for reactivity. On each of these three dimensions, the standard for any chemical is an integer that ranges from 0 (lowest) to 4 (highest).
Four chemicals have already been chosen for each shift, as shown below:
Day shift
Acrylonitrile (health = 4, flammability = 3, reactivity = 2, oxidizer = no, monomer = yes)
Chloroprene (health = 2, flammability = 3, reactivity = 0, oxidizer = no, monomer = yes)
Hydrogen peroxide (health = 3, flammability = 0, reactivity = 2, oxidizer = yes, monomer = no)
Titanium dioxide (health = 1, flammability = 0, reactivity = 0, oxidizer = no, monomer = no)
Night shift
Ammonium nitrate (health = 2, flammability = 0, reactivity = 3, oxidizer = yes, monomer = no)
Phosphine (health = 4, flammability = 4, reactivity = 2, oxidizer = no, monomer = no)
Potassium perchlorate (health = 1, flammability = 0, reactivity = 1, oxidizer = yes, monomer = no)
Propylene (health = 1, flammability = 4, reactivity = 1, oxidizer = no, monomer = yes)
Select a chemical that could be added to either shift. Then select a chemical that could be added to neither shift. Make only two selections, one in each column.
The table below shows 2024 data for 15 major power plants. For each plant, the table lists the total electricity generated (in gigawatt-hours, GWh) and the total operating hours during the year, along with the percent change compared with 2023.
For each statement, select True if it can be verified to be true from the table, otherwise select False.
For each of 8 tasks an architectural firm completed on a particular project, the table lists which of the firm's 5 employees completed the task. A given task might have had a prerequisite task, meaning that work for the given task could not have begun until the work for the prerequisite task had been completed. The table shows, for each of the 8 tasks, the employee that completed the task and which other task, if any, was a prerequisite.
For each of the following employees listed in the table, select Yes if, based on the information provided, that employee must have completed at least one task before Yerasyl had completed all of his tasks. Otherwise, select No.
Intuition guides people in making judgments by using learned associations that automatically surface as feelings. As people gain experience in a field, they learn to associate the defining characteristics of phenomena with particular feelings and many of their judgments can become automatic. For example, rather than going step-by-step through a decision tree, experienced car mechanics will often, after a quick look and listen, intuitively identify the problem.
Which of the following statements is most strongly implied by the information above?
In a certain classroom, there are 80 books, of which 24 are fiction and 23 are written in Spanish. How many of the fiction books are written in Spanish?
(1) Of the fiction books, there are 6 more that are not written in Spanish than are written in Spanish.
(2) Of the books written in Spanish, there are 5 more nonfiction books than fiction books.
